Munashe Chirisa is an actor, writer, comedian, and director based in London and born in Harare. Upon graduating from the University of New Buckinghamshire with a degree in Performance art in Film, Stage, and Television, he went on to work in theatre across the country and in Film and Television. He became the first Zimbabwean actor with a featured role on a Bollywood production in March when Time Dance To Dance premiered in Indian cinemas. Outside of acting, he is an accomplished stand-up comedian with multiple awards and a thriving online presence through his productions. Munashe is also a founder of MADE IN ZWE, a creative and lifestyle brand leading the next generation of global Zimbabwean art & entertainment culture. Recent credits include Volpone, 2020, Tangle theatre, and Time To Dance, 2021, T-Series.
